What is a Criterium?


A Criterium is a multi-lap race on a closed course, and laps are typically shorter than one mile. This style of racing has bred a unique athlete, stressing speed and bike handling.

Registration, Rules, & Regulations

Pre-registration: Click here to register. On race day, make sure to check-in at the registration tables at least 30 minutes before your race.


Day of registration: Registration will close 30 minutes before the start of a given race. Please make sure to register and check-in within this prescribed time.


* The Registration & Check-in Tent will open at 12:30pm on race day.

All bikes must be USA Cycling approved and all applicable USA Cycling rules apply.


WSBA numbers will be used, right side # placement. Rental #s available for $10, $5 deposit returned when # is returned.


All USA Cycling rules apply and promoter reserves the right to combine or cancel categories with less than 20 racers registered in any single event.


Cat 5 Men can only participate in Cat 5 Men race ONLY, no exceptions.


Cat 5 Men and Cat 4 Women may purchase a one day USA Cycling license for $15, all others must have a valid annual USA Cycling license. Go to usacycling.org to purchase your license, no annuals will be sold day of event.


Any participant that is an OBRA member must carry a valid USA Cycling license, except for Cat 5 Men and Cat 4 Women who can purchase a one day license.


Canadian riders may race on a UCI license, but not on a provincial license.


*Prize list distribution will be available day of event at registration.

**Any questions regarding USA Cycling rules and eligibility to race will be answered by the Chief Referee.
